For anyone who wants to quit smoking it is far easier with hypnosis than with willpower, because with willpower you have to keep thinking about what it is you want to stop doing. But then you have thought about it and that makes it harder. An article published in New Scientist magazine in 2003 stated that hypnosis and hypnotherapy enjoyed greater success than any other method of quitting.
The Quit Smoking session lasts for up to two hours, the first part is where the client and therapist discuss various issues, and going over some facts and figures. The final part if the session, approximately half an hour, is where the client is taken into hypnosis and the suggestion is placed into the subconscious that they are now a non-smoker. Most people, after having this therapy will be a non-smoker.
