I have for some time been interested in people and their wellbeing. For a period of 12 years I was a member of St. John Ambulance Brigade, during this time I also trained as a Reiki Master.
I also had a desire for some years to learn Hypnotherapy and was able to achieve this by training at The Essex Institute in Southend attaining a Diploma (advanced) in Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis.
Since my original training I have added other qualifications, I am a Licenced Practitioner of WILL-STOP Gastric Band therapy. New courses are frequently being offered which enable me to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques.
I am a member of APHP (The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psycotherapy) which is based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. I am also a member of NRPC (The National Register of Psychotherapists and Councellors) and registered as a recognised practitioner with CNHC. The Department of Health recommends that you consult with a practitioner registered with CNHC as they will have carried out rigorous checks on the training and qualifications of members, it is an organisation that you can only join by invitation.
